Who can sign up for the free fishing trips?

Accepted Answer

Any active or retired military personnel can sign up. Also, any active or retired first responders (fire, police, EMS, ICE) may sign up. We ask that veterans show their DD214, and first responders show proof of their service. Once you have been certified you may sign up and attend any events we hold.

How do I sign up for trips with Hook, Line, and Warriors?

Accepted Answer

It's easy! You can call or send a text to: 609-425-6091. Leave your first and last name (spell your last name), and a cell phone number so I can reach you.

Why isn't your website updated and current?

Accepted Answer

Because I am not a technologically inclined individual. And I am lazy when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Can I bring a family member out on a trip?

Accepted Answer

We always allow family members to come along for our surf fishing trips. The boat trips are reserved for veterans and first responders. If there is room, I send out a notice that family members can be added. We also allow friends to come along, but usually ask for a donation to cover costs.

Question 5

Do you provide food on these trips, or are you cheap-skates?

Accepted Answer

We always provide lunch on our 8 hour boat trips. Usually hoagies. And we always bring along a case or two of water.
On the 4 hour trips we bring snacks and water.
On the surf trips we usually snag some donuts to much on, and waters.
We do have special occasions where we do a fish fry after a boat trip, usually at the Sea Isle VFW Post across from the Starfish dock. And we have done breakfast after a surf trip. So, try to make each event as pleasurable and memorable as possible.

You are always free to bring along whatever you like too. Snacks, food, drinks, whatever. Just be ready to share!
